The service to celebrate Bob's life will be held at the Nielsen Funeral Chapel, Korumburra Road, Warragul on Wednesday 14 October at 2:00 pm.
We warmly encourage current and former players, members and friends of the club to come along, pay their respects and recognise everything Bob gave to our club.

It is with deep sadness that the Longwarry Cricket Club announces the passing of Life Member Bob Thomas, one of the greatest players in our club's history.

A Life Member and devoted servant of the club for over 60 years, Bob took an estimated 2000 wickets in his time on the field, including remarkable feats such as 63 wickets in a single season, double hat-tricks, and centuries with the bat, representing the league and countless awards — a career that speaks to his enormous talent and lifelong commitment.

Bob will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of playing alongside or against him, being coached by him, or simply sharing his company at the club he loved.

Much loved and deeply respected. He will be greatly missed.

Vale Bob Thomas.

We will announce funeral details as they become available

The favourite son has re-committed as our senior coach for the 2026/27 Season!

After a successful season resulting in a premiership to our 2's we are looking to continue pushing forward as a club.

Jonah Serong is our man!! He lives and breathes the Crows and is a huge part of the clubs growth and future success.

He had a mixed season on field but we are extremely confident that we will see him bounce back as one of the premier spinners in the WDCA and our consistent top order bat.
