Two of our Seniors - Sempai Petrina and Alister, travelled to Sydney to participate in the Sydney Winter Camp - with special guest instructor, Shihan Akaishi - Japan Kumite Team Manager, and Honbu Head Instructor - this weekend. We have no doubt our seniors will acquire a wealth of knowledge and we look forward to them bringing back what they have learnt to share with our dojo. Osu.

Our Bring A Parent days on 27 & 29 April were a great success. Even channel 7 popped in to see what all the excitement was about! We'll be having more of these classes later in the year.

This month sees the return of our "Bring a parent to class" days. These classes are always fun with the kids getting to show off their skills, and bond with their parents. These classes are not limited to parents only, the children can invite grandparents, uncles, aunties or any significant person in their life to join them on the mat. Dates are 27th and 29th April in the usual kids class training times. For more information please see your child's instructors.

Well done to all who participated in yesterday's kids grading. There was a lot of dedicated focus and energy exhibited. Thank you to the instructors and fights who helped out, and to the parents for their support. Results will be out after the school holidays. Osu.
