All setup for a club day at Rocky this weekend, getting some practice in before the club holds their QLD titles later in the year.

Track is fun and flows well, quite a hard packed polished surface.

No rest for the wicked! We have been busy preparing since getting home from Toowoomba to turn around and head to Rockhampton for some testing this weekend prior to their upcoming QLD titles. It will be good to continue the setup work from Toowoomba with a similar surface expected.

Track looks mega, can't wait to see it in person!

With the weekend fast approaching we are more then ready to smell the nitro and see the dust.

Track will be open from 8.30am Saturday morning until 10.30am for practice with drivers brief at 10.50am and racing to start by 11 am.

Huge club day with 35 drivers already signed up and more calls coming through as we post this. So get keen for a big day.

Made the 12hr trip home from the The Track Toowoomba - Darling Downs Off Road RC Racing Inc. KOTM event this weekend.

I only chose to run the one class, IC Buggy to focus and have a less stressful weekend.

I started P5 in the C main, and after two laps with a horrible start was down to P9. Put my head down and steadily gained positions back, and finished in P4 - just missing the bump to the B main as they only took 3 spots through.

An enjoyable weekend away racing, the banter in the pits and catching up with friends from across the state is always a highlight. Thanks to BJH Off Road Rc Racing and 2KMAD Racing for the pit setup.

As always, thank you to SpeedyRC Online Store for the continued support. It was great to catch up with Mick throughout the weekend as he was providing track side support for all racers onsite.

We have made the trek to Toowoomba this weekend for the SpeedyRC Online Store King of The Mountain.

Just running the one class this weekend with the Sparko F8 in IC Buggy.

Should be a great weekend, and always good to catch up with our RC friends from across the state.

Qualifying round 2 and lower mains today at the 2025 Philippine Masters.

Having fun and trying to keep hydrated and cool in this dry heat has been key.

Round 3 of the Asian Buggy Championships are under way at the amazing facility of Pine Hills Dirt Racing.
The oiled surface is great, running Jetko Power J-ONE in a composite clay ultra soft compound.

2024 SpeedyRC Online Store King Of The Mountain

We had a great day today, started in 9th in the IC Buggy B main and managed a 4th spot, giving me the last bump spot to the 45 min A main.

Unfortunately not much to report there. I started in 12th and inherited 11th spot due to a DNF and continued the main to finish in 11th spot. Lots of getting out of other people's way, but it was great to be apart of the race and get another 45min of run time on this fantastic track.

Levi was also running SCT at this event and ended in 7th place after triple mains. He also got to have a run in a junior final and placed 6th in that. It was great to watch him all weekend, he is starting to show some good race craft and was putting in consistent laps with one of his mains reporting 96% consistency.

A huge thanks to fellow Mackay racer Jason Hamo for the pit duties today. It was great to be able to attend this meeting with you guys.

Qualifying day here at the SpeedyRC Online Store 2024 King of the Mountain in Towoomba. Fantastic track here, really enjoy the tight layout. Managed to pick up the Concourse award in IC Buggy.
