πŸ† What an incredible moment for ex-Mackay Cricket player and current Great Barrier Reef Rays player Mitchell Doolan, who has been named the 2025/26 Peter Burge Medal winner for Northern Suburbs District Cricket Club.
To leave home at just 15 years old to pursue a cricket dream in Brisbane takes courage, belief and commitment. To now be recognised with this prestigious award is a wonderful reward for the journey Mitch has been on.
There would be some very proud parents and grandparents watching on with this one. A special achievement for Mitch and a moment well worth celebrating.
Congratulations Mitch Doolan on an outstanding honour. πŸ‘
