✍️ We are pleased to announce the signing of proven goal scorer Morgan Saunders at Surfers Paradise Apollo for 2023! A player who needs no introduction to the SEQ footballing scene, Morgan's ability to find the back of the net has long been revered and will add a new dynamic to our attacking options next year.
Having been a formidable foe for many years during our time in the GCPL, we are delighted that the 26 year old has finally joined us for our venture into QPL 1 next year. The experienced striker joins us after stints in the NPL with Eastern Suburbs FC, and most recently FQPL 1 with Magpies Crusaders United where he contributed 6 goals in 8 games.

He continued "QPL 1 will undoubtedly be a new challenge for the team and I'm hoping to be able to make a strong contribution towards another successful season for the club".

✍️ We are thrilled to announce the signing of box-to-box midfielder Jeremy Green for the 2023 season! Following a brief hiatus up north where he played a crucial role in the resurgence of QPL 1 outfit Magpies Crusaders United for the latter stages of 2022, Jezza has decided to return to Apollo for the 2023 season.
At only 22 years old, Jezza boasts an impressive footballing resume, playing in both the SA & QLD NPL structures before a brief stint in the Gold Coast Premier League with Kingscliff Wolves, and QPL 1 with Magpie Crusaders. Having just recently completed a 100km 1-day run from Byron > Gold Coast, we're all very much looking forward to witnessing this absolute engine's work ethic in the middle of the park for the white and blue in 2023!
🗣 "I really enjoyed my time at Apollo this year, and they were fully supportive and understanding of my decision to move up north to test myself in QPL1" the 22 year old said. "I'm stoked to now have the opportunity to continue playing in QPL 1 but at a club closer to home".
He continued "Having played in QPL 1 for the second half of this year, I definitely believe the squad we've developed at Apollo has the ability to challenge the top teams in 2023".
