A huge congratulations to Isabella Campbell on her selection in the Capricornia School Girls 13–14 Cricket Team! 🌟

Isabella will head to Bundaberg in early November to represent Capricornia at the Queensland School Sport Girls Cricket State Championships.

Souths Life Member and former Queensland Bulls Head Coach Terry Oliver held a special training session for some of our junior cricketers this afternoon at Abbott Park.

Terry spent time working with the players on different aspects of their game, passing on plenty of valuable tips and advice along the way.

It was a fantastic opportunity for our young cricketers to learn from someone who has achieved so much in the game and has such a strong connection to our club.

A huge thank you to Terry for giving up his Sunday afternoon and giving back to the next generation of Souths cricketers. It’s greatly appreciated! 👏🏏🦈

🦈 HAMMERHEAD REPORT 🦈

The Hammerhead has been sent this photo of Mick Bugeja, who was tasked with helping out with strength and conditioning at seniors training today.

Judging by his Aerobics Maltese Mick Style, we’re not entirely sure whether Mick’s program is designed to improve performances on or off the field. 😂

Everyone at training though was just thankful his shorts weren’t any shorter.

The Hammerhead has received this photo of Brad Doolan at seniors training for the first time in 10 years, sucking in the big ones after what was reportedly only a “light warm-up”.

Looking more like Bargearse from the classic 90s comedy show than a cricketer these days, it remains unclear whether Dools will actually take the field this season. 😂🏏

Not long after this photo was taken, he was spotted driving off from Casey Ave, heading north towards the Windmill Hotel for a well-earned recovery Guinness. 🍺
