Time for a change.
Sad but exciting as I’ve decided to resign from MTC as Events Manager. I’ve definitely achieved all my goals in a challenging environment and see that the committee has a new direction they’ve decided to take. It’s been a good 3&1/2 years service and my team improved MTC services immensely with thousands of extra patrons attending feature race days and function bookings increased to an all time high as well as the re-creation & success of the Mackay Turf Girl competition. Thank you to all those gorgeous ladies who entered in the last two years. 🙏
A big thank you to all members, 100 club members, fantastic sponsors & everyone who bought tickets to support a race day and a big thank you to all the gorgeous brides & grooms & clients who hosted functions in the Event Centre over the years. It was wonderful hosting and working with you to ensure your functions success.
A very big thank you to Urban Kitchen caterers & my Event staff who have always worked tirelessly to ensure the place was ready for races and functions. You are loyal , hardworking and reliable with great work ethic in a spasmodic industry where there’s no regular hours and always giving up your weekend family time for others can definitely be a big ask and not to be taken for granted. Thank you... you know who you are. 👍💜
