After an incredible 15 years as a skating official (all over Queensland), he is finally swapping the black and white stripes for colours and taking to the track as a player for the very first time! What an incredible milestone! We couldn't be more excited to see you take this next step.๐ผ๐ฅ

We are incredibly proud to announce that FIVE of our MCR juniors have been selected for the Team Australia Junior Roller Derby Femme+! ๐ฆ๐บ๐ผ
The competition was incredibly strong, with some of the best junior skaters in the country putting it all on the track. To have our skaters selected is an amazing achievement and a testament to the hard work, dedication and commitment of our skaters and our league.
We also celebrate every junior who took on the challenge of tryouts. To those who didn't make the team: you are still phenomenal skaters, and this one result does not define your ability or your future. We are proud of every single one of you. ๐
Athletes making a national team is a reflection of the strength and cohesion of an entire league. We rise together, support each other and celebrate each other's achievements.
Congratulations to our junior athletes and congratulations to ALL our juniors for putting yourselves out there and giving it everything you've got.

Roller derby is so much more than a sport. It's about finding your people, lifting each other up, and growing together. Every accomplishment is built on the support of teammates, coaches, officials, volunteers, families, and a community that believes in you.
