From retreats to CrossFit comps… two completely different worlds, but both with the same goal — empowering women to become the strongest, healthiest and most confident version of themselves. ✨💪
And most importantly, reminding them to be proud of themselves no matter where they’re at in their journey. Because sometimes, simply showing up and having a go is an achievement in itself. 🙌
As we come down from the high of the weekend and soak up Mother’s Day tomorrow, I’ll do a proper recap post sometime next week.
But for now, here’s a little glimpse into the awesomeness that was the Butterfly Effect Competition today in Mackay with these incredible women who achieved some seriously amazing things. 🦋

The Strong Body Project has officially begun 🤍
Yesterday we kicked things off with our onboarding workshop — going through scans, setting the foundation, and helping everyone understand what this program is really about.
And today… our very first class 💪
We have 8 incredible people stepping into our very first block — which is all the spots we had available — and honestly, this one feels special.
Because this isn’t about quick fixes.
It’s not about chasing weight loss or comparing yourself to anyone else.
It’s about learning how to train with purpose.
It’s about building strength that actually supports your body, your lifestyle, and your mind.
One of the biggest things we spoke about is this:
This isn’t about how you look — it’s about how you feel.
Every single person in this group has their own reason for being here.
To feel stronger.
To build confidence.
To support their mental health.
To challenge themselves.
To create something sustainable.
And that’s what matters.
Today’s session was all about finding a starting point — learning what weights feel right, where they’re at, and setting the tone for the weeks ahead.
No pressure. No perfection. Just showing up and doing the work.
This is just the beginning of a new direction for us — one that’s more intentional, more supportive, and focused on long-term results.
And we’re only just getting started.
We’re so excited to guide this group over the next 8 weeks and watch what unfolds 🔥

We did it… our first Calm the F Down retreat of the year 🤍
This time in a brand new location — Platypus Bushcamp, Finch Hatton 🌿
Safe to say… it was nothing short of magical.
From creekside grounding, to deep conversations, to simply slowing down and being… this weekend was everything we hoped it would be and more.
Right now, we’re gently easing our way back into reality (because wow… re-entry is real 😅)

Super proud of this kid ❤️
Second year making it to Cross Country Districts.
3km. Hot. Windy. Hilly. No training… you know, all the fun things 😅
But he showed up, gave it everything he had, and didn’t give up — even when I know he really wanted to at times.
And honestly… that’s what it’s all about.
Not the placing.
Not the outcome.
But having the courage to get out there, push through the hard stuff, and keep going anyway.
This is the stuff we talk about every day — building strong bodies and strong minds.
Learning resilience.
Backing yourself.
Having a crack, even when it’s uncomfortable.
So many incredible runners out there today — every single one of them should be proud 🙌
Moments like this are a good reminder…
