🏏 PLAYER PROFILE (SENIOR) 🏏

Following on from Tim Cridland is our 1st Grade T20 Captain Darryn Dyer Even though Darryn has only been with the Panthers for a couple of season he has made a huge impact both on and off the field.

After our 1st senior player profile it’s time for our juniors to get into the action. First junior Player Profile is a young up and coming star Ava Woodward. Ava’s already fitted a lot into her short cricketing journey and we are sure she has a lot more to come.

Good Luck to our Masters team tomorrow taking on Walkerston at McLennans Park for a 9:30am start.

Now all our Club Records have come to an end it’s time to meet some of our current and former players that make or have made Pioneer Valley such a fantastic club to be involved with.

Leading off with the first Profile is our 1st Grade 1Day Captain and Senior Cricket Coordinator Tim Cridland.

Schools have received information for the MDSS 13-14yrs Boys & Girls Cricket trials.

🏏 Masters Round 2 Results 🏏

Another strong performance from our O/40’s in round two against the Mackay Vikings.

PV captain Glen Maclean won the toss and chose to bat first setting a score of 7 for 199 off their 25 overs. Lee Cussen 50 retired off 34 balls, club President Dean Zeller 51 retired off 36 balls and Les Filewood 20 off just 9 balls doing the damage.

With the ball the wickets were shared around with Nigel Baulch halting any chance of a late overs rally taking 3 for 10 off 3 overs. Peter Lea taking 2 wickets with Les Filewood 2 wickets Dean Zeller and Lee Cussen 1 wicket each capping off solid all round games. Shawn McGuiness chipping in with 1 wickets also. PV bowling the Vikings side out for 152

Round 3 played this Sunday at Harrup Park 5 for a 9:30am start against a strong Walkerston outfit.

So many fantastic memories from our Senior Awards nights over the years. Early days at Marian Hall then onto Tommy Webster Hall in Walkerston you wouldn’t have had a PV Presentation night without a skit, dance performance from Harry Hamilton and even a bit of cross dressing from the lads. More recent we’ve called Wests Leagues Club home to our celebratory night.
