Only one week to go until the JKA AUSTRALIA INC. National Seminar & Championships!

This morning, the JKA Australia National Development Squad completed our final preparation, and everyone was firing on all cylinders!

The focus, energy and commitment this morning really was fantastic. I am super excited to see how everyone performs next weekend. The hard work has been done — now it’s time to step onto the tatami and give it everything!

With a strong focus on footwork, movement and timing, everyone performed exceptionally well as we continue our preparation for the JKA Australia National Championships, now only two weeks away! 🏆 🇦🇺🏆

🥋 JKA AUSTRALIA NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT SQUAD TRAINING 🥋

This morning’s JKA Australia National Development Squad Training focused on the Budo aspects of defence and, most importantly, creating the most opportune moment to attack.

Our training concentrated on the fundamental principles of:

⚡ Go-no-sen
⚡ Sen-no-sen
⚡ Sen-sen-no-sen
⚡ Breaking the line
⚡ Kirikaeshi
⚡ Taisabaki

These principles require much more than physical speed — they demand timing, distance, awareness, decisiveness and the ability to recognise and exploit the right moment.
