Just a little heads up to everyone on how I would like sparring to be carried out as a beguinners, I am all for hard sparring against appropriate partners at appropriate times, but we need to have safety as our number one priority at all times, so while your learning leave the complex stuff to the complex guys you should have more than enough to think about at your level

🥊 VALKYRIE MUAY THAI – FIGHT ANNOUNCEMENT 🥊

We’re excited to announce that Amanda Smith will be stepping into the ring this August on the Powerhouse Fight Series show right here in Mackay!

This will be Amanda’s first fight representing Valkyrie Muay Thai and only the second fighter to step into the ring under the Valkyrie banner.

We’re incredibly excited to have Amanda representing the club and can’t wait to see her put all the hard work from the gym into action.

Bit long for an Instagram video but just wanted to put this out there. Make sure you film every time you work with expierinced coaches, every time I go anywhere and even at home training with my coach Johnny borchardt I film everything because being able to watch these films back is like gold, you can always revisit it and learn new things or remember things you may have forgot, currently I’m going through all my old footage I filmed Mark Pease then when I finish watching all that I’ll go into my other folders and watch all the stuff I filmed in Thailand and the stuff I have from Johnny Borchardt here in town. I garuntee I find new things that I’ve either forgot or didn’t pick up on the first few times please make sure you take notes and film everything you will never regret it
