Reminder our term 3 kick off this afternoon 👏⚽️

Please take a moment to check our updated Term Timetable. You'll notice a few changes, which have been 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝘆𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄.

Unfortunately, due to The Arc's availability and early bookings that overlap with our regular sessions, we've had to make a few adjustments to ensure all programs can continue to run without cancellation.

As a result, 𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗿𝘂𝗻 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟰:𝟬𝟬–𝟱:𝟬𝟬𝗽𝗺 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀. We will utilise two coaches each session and split the players into their respective groups.

People laugh at me when I tell them we make no money, but we’re not a business—we’re a passion project committed to giving kids in our region the opportunities we had growing up.

That will always be our goal. 💙⚽️

Under 12s Recap 🏆

Our Under 12s produced an outstanding tournament in one of the strongest age groups of the competition.
After a gruelling group stage, they finished with 5 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss, securing second place and booking a major semi-final clash against a quality Futbol Academy side.
Things didn’t start to plan, with the boys conceding early to trail 1-0. But instead of dropping their heads, they showed the resilience and belief we’ve worked so hard to build throughout the year. With only minutes remaining, they found a deserved equaliser to send the game to a penalty shootout.
Unfortunately, the shootout didn’t fall our way, but the character this group showed was something to be incredibly proud of.
Determined to finish the tournament on a high, the boys bounced back brilliantly in the 3rd/4th playoff, defeating Edds Footballing Academy 2-0 to secure 3rd place and cap off a fantastic campaign.
This group has been together for a long time, and it’s been incredible to watch them continue to grow—not just as footballers, but as young men. Their effort, resilience and teamwork throughout the weekend made everyone associated with LSSS proud.

Under 11s – Castle Hill Cup Champions 🏆

After a gruelling tournament consisting of eight matches, our Under 11s finished the group stage with an impressive record of 4 wins, 3 draws and just 1 loss, earning themselves a semi-final clash against Gareth Edds Academy.

The Under 11 division was incredibly competitive, with every game demanding maximum effort. As they always do, our players rolled up their sleeves and rose to the challenge. A perfectly timed header from Chayse Crisp proved to be the difference in a tense semi-final, securing a hard-fought victory and a place in the grand final against Jeremy Brockie Football.

The final was an outstanding defensive display from both teams. Our players absorbed relentless pressure, defended with courage and determination, and after full time the scores remained locked at 0-0, sending the match to penalties.

Up stepped our goalkeeper, Isvara—a player who has developed a reputation for thriving in penalty shootouts. Having only been a goalkeeper for two years, his record is nothing short of remarkable. Before the final, he had already been involved in four penalty shootouts, making eight saves, as well as stopping two penalties during the group stage.

When his team needed him most, he delivered once again, producing two saves from four penalties in the shootout to secure the victory and crown our Under 11s Castle Hill Cup Champions! 🏆

A huge congratulations to every player for their resilience, teamwork and commitment throughout the tournament. You represented LSSS and your family's incredible.

Under 9s – Castle Hill Cup Champions 🏆

What an incredible tournament from our Under 9s!

After winning five matches and drawing one in the group stage, the team, led by Coach Richard Carroll, earned a direct place in the major semi-final. A dominant 4–0 victory over EDS Academy secured their spot in the grand final against Jeremy Brockie Football Academy—the same team they had drawn with earlier in the tournament.

Despite playing eight games across the event, the players showed outstanding resilience, determination and teamwork. They capped off a fantastic weekend with a 2–0 grand final victory, thanks to a superb free kick from Cameron before Theo sealed the win with the second goal.

To go through the entire tournament unbeaten in their very first away tournament is a remarkable achievement. Every player should be incredibly proud of what they accomplished. A huge congratulations also goes to Coach Bobby for the fantastic work and leadership throughout the tournament.

We were also proud to see several of our players recognised with individual honours, which is an outstanding achievement considering the quality and number of players in this age group:
