With the upcoming Australia v Bangladesh Test Match coming to Mackay, this is a fantastic opportunity for our local cricket community to hear directly from some of the game’s leading international match officials.

This evening is particularly suited to anyone who is interested in umpiring now or may consider becoming an umpire in the future.

We’d especially love to see plenty of our junior coaches, team managers, parents and volunteers attend. Many of these people already help umpire junior cricket each weekend, and this is a great opportunity to learn more about umpiring, decision-making and officiating from those working at the highest level of the game.

The final squad announcement is here, with the CiteCon Kingfishers Ladies and Masters teams officially locked in following last night’s exciting T20 Smash drafts!

The Kingfishers Ladies enter 2026 as the reigning Komatsu Ladies T20 Smash Champions after soaring to the title in 2025. They have assembled another talented squad and will now set their sights on going back-to-back! 🏆

The Masters, meanwhile, will make their debut in the inaugural Blomfield Environmental Pty Ltd Masters T20 Smash. The Ladies have already provided the championship blueprint—the Masters just need to follow it, although their version may require a little more strapping tape and Deep Heat! 😂

Both squads feature a dangerous combination of experience, exciting talent and genuine match-winners ready to represent the purple.

Following a fantastic draft night, the Gibbs Air & Refrigeration Crocs have snapped up their selected Ladies and Masters squads for the 2026 T20 Smash!

The outstanding response to nominations across both competitions produced a deep and talented player pool, making last night’s draft a fun, exciting and highly competitive evening.

The Crocs will now prepare to compete in the:

🏏 Komatsu Ladies T20 Smash**

Headlining the Crocs Ladies squad is Queensland Country Cricket Association player Dharmini Chauhan, the 2025 Komatsu Ladies T20 Smash Player of the Tournament! Her experience, class and proven ability to perform on the big stage will add some serious bite to the Crocs’ campaign.

Both squads feature an exciting mix of experience, emerging talent and genuine match-winners. When the pressure rises and the games get tight, expect the Crocs to snap up every opportunity!
