The Bears are an amateur ice hockey team in the Australian Ice Hockey League (AIHL). Currently there are 10 teams in the AIHL: Sydney Bears, Adelaide Adrenaline, CBR Brave, Melbourne Ice, Melbourne Mustangs, Newcastle North Stars, Perth Thunder, Central Coast Rhinos, Brisbane Lightning, and Sydney Ice Dogs. Congratulations to Lucas Herrmann who reached 100 AIHL points over the weekend. In just 45 games, he's notched 40 goals and 63 assists. The ultimate team player on and off the ice, it's no wonder Lucas has fast become a fan favourite in his two seasons with the Bears.
