From U13s to U18s, the boys took care of business.

These players have stood out for their effort, skill and positive attitude throughout the week.

Round 28 took our Youth sides on the road to Rockdale Ilinden Sports Centre against Dunbar Rovers. 💙⚔️

The U13s opened the day in a tightly contested match, with neither side able to find the winner as they finished 1-1. The U14s also shared the points after a competitive 1-1 draw.

The U15s came away with a well-earned 2-1 victory, putting together a strong performance and holding firm to secure all three points. 💪

The U16s continued to fight throughout but were unable to turn the result their way, going down 4-2.

The U18s rounded out the day in another incredibly tight contest, battling right until the end before being narrowly edged 3-2.

In our last game of the season it was nearly a perfect day. 1st grade played a brilliant game, with Marcus Apostolakis winning and converting his penalty. It looked like the 3 points were ours until a 92nd minute off the ball penalty was given against us. The 15th penalty given against us in First Grade summed out our season, the flame converted their penalty to equalise with the last kick of the game.

All focus shifted to the U20s in a must win game for finals football in a game against another finals bound team. The boys were on fire. Despite conceding a goal in the first 10 minutes we showed incredible resilience. We came out 4-1 victors, where the scoreline could’ve been a lot more. An incredible effort where, Matt Ashcroft bagged a double, Ewan Perrott scored an incredible team goal and Zachariah Makhlouf scored his 24th of the season.

With the bye this weekend that marks the end of the regular season for our seniors. The U20s are guaranteed to be playing finals but the seeding and game details are yet to be confirmed. Let’s get behind the boys as they look to bring silverware to the club.

Round 27 marked our final home game of the season, with our Youth sides taking to our home pitch one last time for 2026.

The U13s set the tone with an impressive 4-1 victory, producing a dominant attacking display. Jayden Leung was at the heart of it once again, completing a brilliant hat-trick to cap off another huge performance. 🔥⚽⚽⚽

The U15s battled through a tight contest, with neither side able to find the breakthrough as they shared the points in a 0-0 draw.

The U14s came out on top in an entertaining battle, holding their nerve to secure a hard-fought 3-2 victory. 💪

The U16s pushed Hills United all the way in another close encounter, but were narrowly edged out 3-2 despite fighting until the final whistle.

The U18s closed out our final home game in a seven-goal thriller, battling right until the end but falling just short in a 4-3 defeat.

In our final home game of the season we came out as 2-0 victors against Bankstown United. Ryan French in attack showed his class with 2 goals of top quality. Filip Nikic on the other hand showed why he is the King with a stellar display at the back. His performance earned him the Zeus Player of the Match.

It was a game to remember for Zachariah Makhlouf and Callum Garbers both making their debuts and getting meaningful minutes in the game. They both fitted into first grade football helping to get the win on their debut.

A great game from the boys showing what we are capable of doing. Let’s carry this form onto next season.
