Our A Grade Netball Captain, Eliza Moodie, has recommitted to the Cobras for the 2027 season!🏐

Eliza has been a fantastic leader for our A Grade side, setting the standard both on and off the court and helping drive the group forward. Her leadership, commitment and experience will be crucial as we look to build on the strong foundations of our netball program.

✍️FOUR MORE COBRAS COMMIT FOR 2027✍️

The 2027 senior squad continues to take shape, with Ashton Craig, Kai Tyrrell, Zac Dransman and Hunter Tudball all committing to Bacchus Marsh for next season.

All four have shown plenty of promise and have continued to develop throughout 2026, adding valuable depth and youthful energy to the senior group. With another pre-season ahead, we’re excited to see each of them take the next step and play an even bigger role in 2027.

❤️💛🖤 THANK YOU, LISA TYRRELL 🖤💛❤️

Lisa Tyrrell has advised the club that she will not be taking on a coaching role for the 2027 season.

We would like to take a moment to sincerely thank Lisa for her incredible contribution to our Netball community over the past several years.
Lisa started with coaching our junior girls before stepping into the role of Senior Head Coach in 2024 and coaching our C and D Grade teams throughout 2025 and 2026.

Taking on the challenge of rebuilding our netball program was no small task but Lisa embraced the role wholeheartedly. She has been a huge part of shaping the culture, standards and player development within our program, helping create the environment we see today.
Her commitment to our players, her passion for development and the countless hours she has dedicated to our club have made a lasting impact.

While Lisa is stepping away from coaching, thankfully we aren't saying goodbye just yet! Lisa's dedication to the Cobras means she will continue to be involved as part of our committee and will take on other responsibilities across both football and netball.

Thank you, Lisa, for everything you have given to our players, our Netball program and the Cobras. ❤️💛🖤

After a huge win over North Ballarat last week, our E Grade side secured a second chance and now has a spot in the Grand Final within reach.

A win tomorrow sends the girls straight through to the big dance. 💪

A message on behalf of the Reserves playing group:

We would like to thank everyone for their messages and comments over the past 24-48 hours.

Whilst the situation has been difficult to deal with, we have felt an overwhelming amount of love and support from everyone within the club and from the general public.

To cap off a fantastic season, we’d like to extend an invite to all players, partners, friends and families to come down to the clubrooms tomorrow (Saturday 05/09) from 2:30pm onwards.

There will be a sausage sizzle, the AFL finals will be on the TV and the bar will be open.

Come down tomorrow to celebrate a great year and hopefully an E Grade Netball win!

It’s time to celebrate another incredible season of the Bacchus Marsh Football Netball Club! 🐍❤️💛🖤
