North Perth United 2–2 Wanneroo City

A hard fought point on the road at Woodville Reserve today, in a game that went right to the very end.

With time running out, up stepped 1st Team goalkeeper Cian Flynn — getting forward for one final push and powering home a bullet header in the dying moments to secure a 2–2 draw! 🧤⚽💥

Cian was outstanding throughout the game and then delivered at the other end when we needed him most. A huge performance and, in our opinion, a thoroughly deserved Man of the Match. 👏

The point sees us briefly move four points clear at the top of the Amateur Premier League, with Emerald Noranda currently in action against Jaguar.

Just two games to go, but our focus remains exactly where it has been all season:

Next weekend we’re back on the road again for a huge 1st vs 2nd clash against Emerald Noranda. Another massive challenge away from home, and we’d love to see as many Roos as possible making the trip to get behind the boys. ❤️🦘

The boys are sitting top of the table, and a win next week will secure 1st place for the Home & Away season! 🏆

FULL TIME | ROOS WIN 🔴⚪️

A solid afternoon at Players Place as the First Team picked up a win over Kelmscott Roos.

The scoreline probably doesn’t tell the full story of the game, with Kelmscott making us work hard throughout. Credit to the lads for staying disciplined, taking our chances and seeing the job through.

Another three points, but nothing changes — three games to go and our focus moves straight to the next one.

Another positive afternoon for the club, with both senior sides picking up important results on the road against Maccabi.

First Team | Wanneroo City 1–0 Maccabi
Reserves | Wanneroo City 3–1 Maccabi

Two tough, competitive games and credit to Maccabi for the challenge across both fixtures. Pleasing to see both teams work hard for the results, but we know there is still plenty of football ahead of us.

Thank you again to everyone who travelled on this beautiful Sunday and supported the teams. As always, it’s greatly appreciated.

Our attention now turns to Kelmscott next weekend.

What an incredible experience for our lads at the Juventus vs Palermo game on Tuesday the 11th ⚽🖤🤍
Not only did they get to watch the action, but they had the amazing opportunity to be ball kids and even play a game on the pitch at half-time!
Such a memorable experience and one they'll be talking about for a long time.

Two hard fought games and six points, but just as important was the support around the club throughout the day. A massive thank you to everyone who came down, got behind the teams and helped create another brilliant home atmosphere. ❤️🖤

A special mention has to go to our ground marshals, canteen crew, bar staff and volunteers who put in the work behind the scenes to make Super Sunday happen from early in the morning and still going strong now.

Days like today simply don’t happen without people giving up their time for the club, and we really appreciate every one of you. 👏

There’s no time to sit back though. 🎯

We turn our attention straight to a huge week of Cup and League action, with the Roos back at home on Wednesday night before another big home fixture next weekend.
