The first Goldfields Triples event was held on Wednesday at Maldon. The sun was out but the wind was very cold. Competition was very keen with bowlers coming from many district clubs. The major sponsor for the day was Maldon Hardware. Thankyou so much for your support. The winners on the day with three wins was Avoca. The runners up were our Maldon duo of Trevor and Jim with a visiting bowler from Carisbrook.

Friday nights Trivia event at the bowls club was a resounding success. Eight teams enjoyed a welcome drink before embarking on a selection of Trivia questions developed by our host Steve Howard. The topics were General Knowledge, Politics, Film and TV and Music. Hot savoury food was served as well as the usual fabulous raffle. Thanks to our wonderful sponsors and helpers on the night. Pictured are the happy winning team.
