Today was quite sunny for Social Bowls but very windy conditions as well so made bowling quite tricky.
Robyn Butcher and Di Mac took over proceedings before Pat Bill called cards for teams.
There was a lot of applause when it was announced that Gloria Harper was the winner of Club Major Singles Championship yesterday.
Happy Birthday greetings to Kim Giannasca for tomorrow.
Great to see Gay Biggs back out on the Green and G*i Gibson after her lovely holiday.
A special day will be held on Tuesday 13th October to celebrate the 80th Birthday of Rae Fayle a very popular bowling Friend.
Morning tea at 9.30am, bowls, lunch and Birthday cake.
An invitation to all our Stingrays men to join us for the day.Wear brightly coloured clothes, no uniforms, there will also be prizes to be won.
Put names on sheet above Tuesdays sign in sheet for those who will be attending, it will be a fun day.

What a beautiful day for Finals of Stingrays Women's Club Major Singles Finals .
Robyn Butcher 25 defeated Lynda Franks 6. The score doesn't show how well Rookie Lynda (photo) bowled against the more experienced Robyn a great game to watch .
Gloria Harper 25 defeated Yvonne Huddleston 16 (photo) both very
experienced bowlers , results could have gone either way.
Thanks to Umpire Julie Knorpp and Markers Jenny Blyth and Colleen Ashby.
After a short respite for lunch Robyn and Gloria were out on the Green again for Final .
It took Robyn a while to get going and Gloria was well ahead, it was quite windy. The last few Ends were the hardest with both ladies winning alternate Ends. The Final score Gloria 25 as Club Major Singles winner and Robyn 8 as Runner-up .
I am sure the spectators who came along to watch enjoyed some terrific bowling from these two champions.

Finals of Rookie Pairs were played over the weekend, beautiful weather on Saturday but very rainy on Sunday.
Semi-final , Terry West and Barry Dunstan from Bega defeated Roland Krikowa and Allen Chant, Tomakin.
Julie Knorpp,Malua Bay and Chris Platt, Merimbula in great form(photo) defeated Phillip Caines and Jeff Wilson, Sussex Inlet RSL.
Final, Terry West and Barry Dunstan def. Julie Knorpp and Chris Platt.
Kaine Malone representing South East Region congratulated the team from Bega who will now proceed to State Finals. Kaine thanked Club Tomakin for the great job they did as hosts for this important event.
Well done also to Lynda and Rodney Franks who took part on Saturday with some great bowling.
Thanks to all the spectators from Club Malua Stingrays who came to cheer our teams on.

Mac welcomed everyone also wished Gwen Ware a Happy 82nd Birthday.
Melita also let us know there will be a new list of Lunch Specials on Mondays and Tuesdays.
