The Chief Instructor is Grandmaster Kim Seng, 9th dan black belt in Taekwondo and 8th dan black belt in Hapkido self defence. He is a qualified Kukkiwon Examiner (1st class) and Master Instructor (1st class) and Hanmadang Referee from Kukkiwon (World Taekwondo Headquarters). In July, our club took part in the 2026 WA State Taekwondo Championships, with nine members competing in fifteen events. The team achieved seven first-place wins, four second-place wins, and four third-place wins. The photos below show the performances of our team members.
A blast from the past. It was 27 years ago, but the actions and movements were fast, players and referee too. Memories of this match (1999 World Championsips welterweight final, held in Edmonton, Canada) are still clear. Dedication of the players (Bahri Tanrikulu, Turkey & Jang-O Jang, Korea) and the referee (Kim Seng, Australia) of this match have progressed and made higher achievements in taekwondo sport and martial art.
