What an incredible 4 days at Express Dance Challenge in Busselton ❤️

With over 100 routines entered and 15 troupe performances, our dancers took to the stage with courage, determination, passion and pride. For many, this was their first time performing in new sections, genres or categories, and wow, you were amazing!

While we are grateful for every award and achievement received throughout the weekend, what we are most proud of is the way our students supported one another, encouraged their teammates, and how our family community of parents and students came together to support every performer.

Watching our dancers step outside their comfort zones and grow in confidence will always be something truly special. 🥹

Behind every performance were long days, early mornings, late finishes and a whole lot of teamwork. Our students continued to give their all every time they stepped onto the stage, while our competition families navigated everything from costume changes to busy schedules. It was a huge weekend, but together we got through it with smiles.

Alongside many other placings and special recognitions throughout the weekend, these results are a reflection of the hard work, commitment and dedication our dancers bring to every class, rehearsal and performance.

Most importantly, we leave this competition with stronger friendships, unforgettable memories, lots of laughs and a studio community we are incredibly proud to have built together.

To our dancers, teachers, families and supporters — thank you for making these four days so special. We are beyond proud of every single performer who represented Metro and can’t wait to see what the rest of the season brings. ❤️

Have You Met Our Junior Leaders??

Meet Arriahlee, Chloe, Kohl and Nevaeh.
Our dedicated Junior Leaders who have been assisting and supporting students across our Dance, Modelling and/or Performing Arts programs.

Selected for their dedication, maturity, reliability and positive attitude, these students have consistently demonstrated the qualities of strong role models and leaders within our studio community.

Having each spent between 6 and 10+ years with Metro, they have grown up within our studio, embracing our values, culture and passion for the performing arts. They are now sharing those experiences with the next generation while assisting and encouraging our younger students.

As part of their Dance Apprentice Certification, these students are developing valuable leadership, mentoring and teaching skills through practical experience, assessments and ongoing training. This certification is designed to help guide and prepare aspiring teachers for the future, making their selection and participation an incredible accomplishment.

We are incredibly proud of all they have achieved so far and look forward to watching them continue to grow, learn and flourish as leaders, mentors and future teachers within our Metro family. ❤️
