Within days of getting new stocks of SDL All Black Rollfingers, we have quite a few of our favourite GKs coming back over to the “Dark Side”. Latest to get in touch was _melissabroome.

We did say we are back. ….and back in the clean sheet circle. Our boy Casey Robertson kept a clean sheet yesterday in SL Div 2 Official Wembley Downs Soccer Club 1-0 win over Canning City.
Gotta gLOVE that. In fact all 3 SL teams plus the Ams all had wins in the senior male competitions. A 15 point day for the boys.
I know the Div 8 girls also had a win, their first for the season, well done girls. 🧤⚽️🧤

And while the boys at Official Wembley Downs Soccer Club were scoring goals. SDL was fighting rising water after the rains Friday and Saturday morning.

Thank goodness for foresight. Removed 250 shirts ready for logos and numbers late Friday night…..

After almost 14 years at this club, player, gk coach, clothing supplier canteen person and now back as bar manager. Good to see the work the SL Boys have put in during preseason and friendlies, is paying off, even though it’s only 2 games in. WDSC are on top of the league in SL #2
Both 1st team and Ressies are undefeated and the 18s are 1 draw and a loss. So great results across the board.

Well done boys.

Big big big day down at Official Wembley Downs Soccer Club tomorrow. If you have nothing better to do, fun begins at 12.30 with the Harding Cup and then the 3rd Round of the Hahn Australia Cup. KO at 3pm
