There are five senses – sight, smell, touch, taste and hearing. Our senses help us to understand what's happening around us. 👀👃 🤚 👅 👂
It’s important to try and make children aware of the different senses as early as possible to help them join up their thoughts and experiences, and understand how their bodies work.
