At SJJA Manly, the details matter. From the very first warm up, Professor Marco sets the standard. Helping the kids move with purpose, build good habits, and sharpen their technique every class.💎

It’s not just about burning energy. It’s about learning how to move well, stay focused, and grow in confidence on the mats

Watching kids realise they’re capable of more than they thought is one of the best parts of the mats.

A small win, a new technique clicking, a proud smile after class those moments add up quickly. 🤍

Slowing it down and getting it right.

At SJJA Manly, a lot of time is spent on the details. Grips, positioning, timing. Making sure everything makes sense before adding pressure.

Under Professor Marco, it’s not rushed. You build the understanding first, then layer in resistance and intensity.

That’s what turns technique into something you can actually use.

Quiet room, everyone tuned in.

At SJJA Manly, there’s a big focus on understanding what’s happening, not just going through the motions. Watching, asking, and taking in the details before stepping on the mat yourself.

You can feel the attention in moments like this. Everyone is locked in, building a better understanding piece by piece.

That’s what adds up over time.

Just good times on the mats 😊

This is a big part of what we build in our kids classes at SJJA Manly. Not just learning jiu-jitsu, but enjoying the process and being around a solid group of friends. Come in to SJJA Manly to give your kids an oportunity to build their community.

Hands up, ready to learn 🙋‍♂️

One of the best parts of our kids classes at SJJA Manly is seeing how engaged they are. Questions, curiosity, and actually wanting to understand what’s going on.

Under Professor Marco, along with Coach Eemil, Grace and Jas, the room stays structured but open. The kids know they can ask, try, and be part of the class, not just follow along.

That confidence to speak up and get involved carries a long way beyond the mats.

Our kids classes at SJJA Manly are where it all starts. From the moment they step on the mats, it’s about building confidence, learning how to focus, and picking up the small details that make a difference over time. 💎

Under Professor Marco, the room is structured, calm, and high energy in the right moments. The kids learn when to listen, when to move, and how to support each other. You can see it in the way they sit, the way they watch, and the way they try again when something doesn’t work the first time.

It’s not just about learning jiu-jitsu. It’s about developing discipline, respect, and a mindset that carries off the mats too.

As coaches, we set high expectations for our students, and there’s no better feeling than that moment when everything clicks and all their hard work and determination pays off 💎

More and more the kids are confidently piecing together techniques, applying sequences like this in their sparring, and most importantly, walking away happy with their progress.

Classes are running right through the holidays, don’t miss the chance to get your kids on the mats to sharpen up their skills before the term starts up again!
