Once again we returned to the Queensland outback for the 2026 Clermont Outback Sailing Regatta at Theresa Dam, this was our second appearance at this unique and much-anticipated event.

Now in its fourth year, the Clermont Outback Sailing Regatta brings sailors from across Queensland and beyond together for a weekend of competitive racing, camaraderie and plenty of outback spirit.

The unique atmosphere and welcoming community spirit makes this Regatta such a special event and we look forward to it every year now.

After nearly 2 years without sailing the C2 we finally put the F18 back on the water yesterday for a shakedown sail in some fresh conditions up at Lake Cootharaba. Here is some of the on board footage and communication between Ethan and I settling into our first sail together

Here it is!!! On the water footage from when it went horribly wrong for us on the 5.7 Taipan yesterday. A huge thanks to all the Hervey Bay Sailing Club volunteers both on and off the water who were ready to assist us and able to get us back to shore. Ethan... looks like we may have to put the F18 back on the water for the next regatta mate!
