Behind every great regatta is an amazing team of volunteers.

We're looking for volunteers from WMYC and WMSC to assist with:

✅ Registration
✅ Race Administration
✅ Presentation Setup
✅ Hospitality
✅ General Event Support onshore and offshore

Whether you can spare a few hours or the whole weekend, we'd love your help.

Who will write the next chapter of St Helena Cup history? ⛵

For over 50 years, the St Helena Cup has been one of Moreton Bay's most prestigious sailing prizes, with generations of sailors competing for a trophy steeped in history and tradition.

Last year's milestone event delivered outstanding racing and worthy champions.

Congratulations once again to our 2025 Division Team Champions:

🏆 Division 1 – Sports Stars (No Dough, Don't Panic!, Crank)
🏆 Division 2 – Richmond Sailing Club 1 (Resin, Alfina, Pingu)
🏆 Division 3 – Ritalin is a Rare Groove (Rare Groove, Ritalin)

Their names are now part of a proud St Helena Cup legacy that stretches back to 1976, when the event was founded as a unique team-based competition inspired by the UK's Admiral's Cup.

Now the challenge is on.

Can these teams defend their titles and add another chapter to St Helena Cup history, or will new contenders earn their place on one of Australian sailing's most respected honour rolls?

The Bendigo Bank Community Raffle is back for 2026, and this year Wynnum Manly Yacht Club is proud to be supporting Men's Mental Health. 🧠❤️‍🩹

Why we need your support

Many members will remember the popular WMYC Men's Breakfast, which brought men from across the club together over a BBQ and a coffee. More than just a social catch-up, these breakfasts created opportunities for connection, conversation and support, giving members a chance to talk about what's happening in their lives and look out for one another.

To help bring this valuable initiative back, WMYC has joined more than 55 community and not-for-profit organisations across the Bayside and Redlands regions participating in the Bayside Community Fund's fundraising raffle, proudly sponsored by the Community Bank Victoria Point and Wynnum Manly branches of Bendigo Bank.
