Beautiful run this morning, big hugs to you all for a great Wednesday

One of the most difficult things you can do is … let go

Let go of ideas

Let go of controlling

Let go of stories

Let go of old beliefs that don’t serve you

Let go of trying to force an outcome

I struggle with this frequently. It’s really hard to let go

My need for certainty and clarity can make things challenging sometimes

I’m a problem solver so I like order and structure but life often isn’t like that

One thing I’m learning is that I don’t always need clarity and certainty in everything I do

I’m learning to sit in uncertainty and simply observe

Like watching a wave roll over me from the bottom of the ocean floor

When I do this, I make my uncertainty and observing muscle stronger

If you’re reading this, maybe you have a need for certainty and clarity too

Maybe you want to control the outcome and make things neat and tidy

I totally get it!!

Maybe that’s a habit you’ve had for a long time

Running helps reveal truths about ourselves and how we operate

Things come to the surface in training so we can process these emotions and see them clearly

I encourage you to let go today, just a little

The world is much friendlier and more fun and loving when you don’t try to control it and you practice letting go
