This week at Junior Sailing, Andy was a no show, Liam cut his foot, Luca & Tahlia painted their faces with colored zinc, Lucy tricked me out of a banana from my lolly bag, and we enjoyed a cracker day sailing on the Lake. Morning Maniacs started with more start line practice, with the emphasis on "be on time" and by start four they had it nailed. The afternoon racing started with a nor'wester then swung to the sou'east by the late afternoon. Four races and all were on time at the start line. Great sailing, juniors, see you next week .......

ATTENTION JUNIOR SAILORS !

Point score starts this week for afternoon racing, don't forget the best way to win the club championship is to race as often as possible. Hope to see everyone back on the water this Saturday !!!

This week at junior sailing we celebrated the new season, with just three juniors on board for our first day back. A wild 25 knot norwester kicked in this afternoon so the juniors abandoned their Open Skiffs (and Andy) and jumped on a Young 88 for the afternoon yacht race. Check out young Tahlia (9yrs old) taking the helm on the reach over to Summerland Point.
