A huge congratulations to our Eagles recognised at the 2026 GVL League Awards! 💙💛

A special congratulations to Eva Clydesdale and Indi Nicholls, who were named joint winners of the GVL Netball Umpires Development Award. A fantastic recognition of their dedication, growth and commitment to umpiring throughout the season.

We’re also incredibly proud of our Future Stars nominees, Ellie Marks and Sam Guppy. A wonderful achievement and a great reflection of the talent and potential coming through our club.

We are so proud to congratulate Alex Ball who took home the Wellman Family Medal for GVL A Grade Best & Fairest last night, with 25 votes. What an incredible achievement for someone who gives so much to our club.
Alex, we couldn’t be prouder of you and everything you’ve contributed over the past three seasons. Your talent, heart and commitment mean more than you know. We love you to absolute pieces. 💙💛

A new chapter for one of our greats, Brett Mahoney will take the reins as Senior Men’s Coach for the next two seasons. From Mansfield junior to premiership player, 200-game Eagle and one of the club’s most respected figures, Brett knows what it means to wear the navy and gold. We’re incredibly excited to have him lead our next generation of talent. 💛💙

We’re also excited to welcome Travis Purcell into his new role within the Football Department. Travis has been a huge part of our football program and we can’t wait to see what he brings to the role.
