CHAMPIONS OF CHAMPIONS

A season to be proud of!!

While the Grand Final didn’t end the way our girls had hoped, they walk away with a Runner-Up trophy in the state’s biggest competition and a season they should be incredibly proud of!

This team continues to go from strength to strength, raising the bar year after year and proving that the future of our Women’s Premier League program is in very good hands.

The disappointment of falling just short will hurt for a little while, but it will also fuel the hunger to come back stronger.

We can’t wait to see what next season has in store for these girls. If this year is anything to go by, there are plenty more big moments ahead!

💚💛 THANK YOU, SHIYAR CAKAL! 💛💚

After 9 incredible years, a special chapter in the history of our Men’s Premier League program comes to an end as we farewell one of our long-serving coaches, Shiyar Cakal. Shiyar advised the club a few days ago of his decision and we wanted to thank him for everything he has done at Marayong FC.

Shiyar has been part of the Marayong FC family for almost a decade, playing an important role in one of the most successful periods in our Premier League history. Today, we want to recognise the time and dedication he has given to our club.

Over the years, he has become a friend to so many people within Marayong FC. We have celebrated some incredible highs together, endured our fair share of heartbreaks, and shared countless memories along the way. We have also been privileged to witness some of the biggest moments in his life, including his marriage and the birth of his first child.

These are the things that make football clubs special. The trophies and results will always be remembered, but it is the friendships and memories created along the way that truly last.

🏆 A LEGACY OF SUCCESS

Shiyar has been an integral part of our Men’s Premier League program during a period that has cemented Marayong FC as one of the competition's powerhouses. As part of our dynamic coaching duo, he has helped deliver an incredible collection of silverware, including:

🏆 4x Club Championships
🥇 3x Championship Titles
🏅 10+ Minor Premierships across both grades
🏆 Cottam Cup winners

After nine years, Shiyar has pretty much become part of the furniture at Marayong FC! So, while we may need some time to get used to seeing him on the other side of the fence, there is no doubt that his departure will leave a void within our club.

Shiyar, thank you for everything you have contributed to Marayong FC. Thank you for the memories, the friendships, the successes and the commitment you have shown over the past nine years.

While we are sad to see this chapter come to an end, we wish you as much success in your next chapter as you have helped bring to our club.

You may be leaving the coaching staff, but you will always be part of the Marayong FC family. 💚💛
