What an incredible night celebrating the heart and future of our club — our juniors! ⚽️

On a beautiful Father’s Day evening, our MVK community came together to celebrate every achievement, every improvement, every smile and every memory made throughout Season 2026.

A massive thank you to Fiona and Peter for everything they did behind the scenes to bring the night together, and to everyone who helped make it so memorable.

A special thank you to Aaron, Entertainment First for the photo booth, and DJ Robbie for keeping the tunes going all night! 🎶📸

To every parent and volunteer who helped in the canteen, on the cake stalls, with the games, setting up, packing down and wherever else you were needed — thank you.

To our senior players who came down and gave their time to the kids, and to every coach, team manager and parent who has supported our juniors throughout the year — nights like this are possible because of you. ❤️

We were also honoured to welcome the Premier of Victoria, Ben Carroll, who joined us for the celebrations and helped present trophies to our junior players. We sincerely thank him for taking the time to share such a special evening with our community.

Most importantly, congratulations to every single junior player. Whether you took home a trophy or simply walked away with great memories, friendships and a love for the game, we are incredibly proud of you.

These boys have represented the badge with pride, fought for each other all season and now get to call themselves CHAMPIONS.

In our 40th year, this one means just that little bit more. From everyone who built this club, to the coaches and families who give so much today, and most importantly to these young men — this is your moment.

It’s not often in football that you get the opportunity to call yourself Champions.

It doesn’t matter whether it’s Under 7s, Seniors, Reserves or Over 35s — winning a league is special. You remember the teammates you did it with, the people standing on the sidelines and the feeling when that final whistle blows.

This Saturday, we have that opportunity twice.

Our Reserves and Seniors both enter the final day of the season with the chance to lift a league trophy.

And in our 40th year, that means even more.

This Saturday is for every player who has pulled on a Moonee Valley Knights shirt. Every coach, committee member, volunteer, parent and supporter who has given their time to this club. For those still with us, and those we remember who helped build the club we have today.

1986–2026. Forty years of the Knights. ❤️🖤

Now another group of players has the opportunity to add their names to that history.
