What an incredible milestone for Amelie Huxtable!

Amelie started her football journey with the Marion Rams in Under 7s, beginning in the mixed competition where she quickly learnt to hold her own and rough it out with the boys! 💪

She is proudly part of our OG group — a group of girls who have grown together through the junior ranks and helped pave the way for the next generation of female footballers at Marion.

Over the years, Amelie has developed into a fantastic running defender, using her outstanding agility, speed and determination to make an impact on the field. 🏃‍♀️💨

Amelie is the second female player in Marion Football Club history to reach 100 junior games — an amazing achievement and one that she should be incredibly proud of! 👏👏👏

Congratulations, Amelie Huxtable, on an outstanding milestone. Your commitment, development and love of the game are an inspiration to everyone at the club.

📣 MILESTONE ANNOUNCEMENT — 300 GAMES 📣

This one is pretty special. 💚💛

This weekend, in our first final, Dougie Bell pulls on the green and gold for the 300th time. An extraordinary milestone for a man who is quite simply a legend of the Marion Football Club. 🐏

What can we say about Dougie that hasn’t already been said?

For 300 games, Dougie has given everything to this club. He’s been there through the highs, the lows, the tough years and the successful ones — and through it all, his loyalty to Marion has never wavered. He is the definition of a true clubman and someone who genuinely bleeds green and gold. 💚💛

His playing career speaks for itself. A B Grade Best & Fairest winner in 2010, a C Grade Premiership player in 2020, and the captain of our 2023 B Grade Premiership side — Dougie has not only experienced success at Marion, he has helped lead and shape it. 🏆

But 300 games represents so much more than the accolades.

It’s years of preseason. Hundreds of training sessions. Sore bodies. Wins, losses and everything in between. It’s putting your hand up week after week, being there for your teammates and continuing to give back to the club you love.

Very few people reach 300 games, and even fewer do it having left the kind of mark on a football club that Dougie has.

And what better stage to bring up the big 300 than FINALS FOOTY. 🔥

Dougie, this club is a better place because you are a part of it. You are loved by your teammates, friends, supporters and the entire Rams family, and we couldn’t be prouder to see you reach this incredible milestone.

300 games. One club. A true Marion legend. 💚💛

🔔 Milestone Alert – Harry Munn
150th Game 💚💛

Today, Harry Munn will play his 150th game for Marion in our Under 17.5 Elimination Final.

Harry began his football journey with the club in the Under 8s and has gone on to become one of our most dependable players. Often relied upon in defence, Harry has built a reputation for reading the play exceptionally well and being strong at the contest.

Over recent seasons Harry has transitioned to the mid field, providing clean ball use and is rarely beaten one-on-one. Harry's reliability and commitment have made him a key and respected member of our under 17.5 side.

Congratulations, Harry, on reaching the significant milestone of 150 club games 🐏.
