The Stroke for Success Raffle is officially LIVE.
One lucky winner will take home a $15,000 Grand Cash Prize β no strings attached.
At the same time, youβll be supporting Maroochy River Rowing Club athletes competing at two of Australiaβs biggest regattas:
π£ NSW State Championships β Sydney International Regatta Centre (Penrith)

π 4 tickets for $100
π 10 tickets for $225
The raffle will be drawn on Saturday 21 March 2026.

π¨ Community Shout-Out! π¨
A HUGE thank you to the incredible team at All Coast Tyres β Goodyear Maroochydore, Goodyear Nambour, and Dunlop Super Dealers Yandina & Gympie.
This morning at 7:00am, just as we were getting ready to head off to Wyaralong for the Queensland Grade Championships, we discovered a flat tyre on our tow vehicle. We sent out an SOS⦠and these legends told us to come straight in. They found the culprit (see nail photo!), repaired the tyre on the spot, and sent us on our way with a ZERO dollar bill.
Thanks to them, weβre now on the road to Wyaralong β only a little late and with our boatman only slightly ruffled. π
π£ββοΈ
That kind of generosity and community spirit means the world to a volunteer-run club like ours. πβ€οΈπ€
If you need tyres, please consider supporting the people who support us. Let them know Maroochy River Rowing sent you β they truly look after their community.

β¨ New Oars for Our Youth Rowers! β¨
Weβre thrilled to share that Maroochy River Rowing Club has added two brand-new sets of Croker Arrow oars to our fleet β and theyβre going to get a cracker of a workout this weekend at Qld Grades Championships by our athletes! β€οΈβπ₯π£ββοΈ
A huge thank you to Sunshine Coast Council for supporting this project through their Minor Grants Program. Your investment in youth sport makes an immediate and meaningful difference to our rowers, helping us get more kids on the water and improving training opportunities across all squads. Weβre incredibly grateful for your ongoing support of our club and our community. πππ
Weβd also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Lachlan Allen, for making this upgrade possible. Lachlan generously made these high-performance oars available to us at an exceptionally favourable price β a gesture that allowed us to stretch the grant funding further and deliver even greater value to our rowers. We are truly appreciative of his support and collaboration. πβ¨
These oars will serve our young people every week, helping them develop confidence, skill, and a lifelong love of rowing.
Big things happening at Maroochy River Rowing Club β and we are just getting started. β€οΈπ€π£ββοΈ

π¨ Our tinnyβs been nicked! π¨
Sometime this week, a small Maroochy River Rowing Club tinny was stolen from our shed at Muller Park.
Weβre not sure who thought it was a good idea to steal from a youth rowing club, but hereβs the thing β all of our hard worked for resources are how our volunteer coaches keep our kids safe on the water every morning at sunrise.
If youβve suddenly found yourself with a shiny little tinny that doesnβt belong to you, weβd love it back. No questions asked. Just drop it off where you found it.
If returning it isnβt on your to-do list, maybe do the right thing another way β donate to help us replace it here:
π https://asf.org.au/campaigns/mrrc/our-future-with-every-stroke
It's even tax deductible, so the "purchase" of your new tinny is a tax write off. Lucky for you.
Weβre a volunteer-run, not-for-profit youth club. Every dollar goes straight back into keeping our kids rowing safely.
Why would you steal from kids?
Do the right thing. Bring it back β or help us buy another.
Oh... and I probably wouldn't put it in the water... it was out to be taken to be repaired due to the hole in it.
Our future with every stroke | Australian Sports Foundation Help us upgrade our boats so young Sunshine Coast rowers can train, race, and thrive with safe, competitive equipment.
