One of the greatest gifts I can give my boy is the gift of fitness and health.
That no matter what happens in life you can control how you move, how you eat, how you drink and your routine and habits.
You are undoubtedly a better person in every aspect of your life if you pour into yourself physically and mentally.
I’m so grateful to have walked the journey of fitness and health for so long that I can pour it all into Elliot and give him the best chance of success.
Leading by example is the only way.

Fitness and health is an infinite game
So why adopt a finite mentality around it?
You never get to a point where you ‘make it’ with your fitness
You never get to a point where you ‘make it’ with your health
It’s a continual process to keep working on
And they are both perishable
Meaning, if you don’t work on them, you will lose them
If you can simply adopt that mindset, that fitness and health is a lifelong journey then it will save you a lot of anxiety and disappointment
It will save you from jumping from quick fix to quick fix
From shiny object to shiny object
It will save you restricting yourself from unsustainable diets
And most importantly it will allow you to ENJOY the journey
Because there is no destination

Not even 3 weeks into the Extraordinary Dads Academy program and Andrew is crushing it!
I created a super simple plan to track his food intake and up his protein and his belly is shrinking already!
Andrew follows 3x bodyweight workouts a week which go for no longer than 30 mins and an active recovery walk 2x week.
And the best thing is, he doesn’t need a gym and he is not spending hours training each day to see results.
I hopped off the phone with him and already his back pain and stiffness in the morning has reduced significantly.
He has more energy, feeling more confident and is actually motivated to hit his workouts.
I could notice even by the way he was speaking.
He wants to be able to keep up with his daughter and have the confidence to get out more.
The plan I’ve created is simple and sustainable. I don’t have Andrew on a super restrictive rabbit food diet with foods he hates.
He is not eating separately to his daughter either.
The key is consistency, a long term mindset, support and accountability
We are only so early into the program and super excited to see how far this legend can progress in the next few months

Spice up your veggies
Veggies are far from bland and boring
Here’s my top tips to get tasty veggies
After I cook my chicken Maryland’s I put the veggies in the chicken juice, add some Italian herbs, salt and pepper.
The juice will cook down and crisp up your veggies nicely
So good! 🤤
Enjoy

BREAKTHROUGH
The other day I did a live video explaining the “Breakthrough”
When you stay the course you will have a breakthrough
These photos are only 10 days apart
But this is how fast your body & mind can change and actually show you that the work you’re putting in is paying off
It’s been a hard 10 days don’t get me wrong. I’ve been tired, sore as f**k and some days I am forcing myself to show up
Training load has increased
Water has increased
I’ve diligently stuck to my macros
I’ve stopped mindlessly scrolling through social media
I’ve heavily protected what information goes into my brain - Only information that will help me with my goals
Made a conscious effort to be more congruent in all areas of my life
And now I can really start to feel the mind shift
The mind is sharper. My bitch voice is getting weaker. And I am starting to feel all the cylinders firing
Through out the process some challenges have arisen where in the past would knock me off course but I’ve recognised that there are obstacles thrown my way for a reason, to test my path and my fortitude
Because when you pour into yourself everyday, you start to build physical and mental armour that cannot be penetrated
So just imagine what can be done in 100 days and then a whole year
So if you’re grinding away and it’s hard and you feel you ain’t making progress
STAY THE COURSE !!!!
You will have a breakthrough moment where the results start to materialise and that will keep you on course
