Another strong night for Annabelle, taking home silver in the 100m Freestyle and 100m Butterfly.

Today she’s back to it, racing the 200m IM in her age group before stepping up into the Open 400m Freestyle.

DAY TWO

Day Two also saw our Cotton Tree youth swimmers take on the gruelling 2km ocean swim.

Taj led the U13 boys for much of the race, only to be unfortunately overtaken by a wave near the finish, coming home in an admirable 4th place with a cracking time.

Luciana also raced strongly all weekend, finishing with a gallant top-10 result in the demanding 2km event.

It takes real courage to step up and race in these conditions and over this distance. Watch this space with our emerging youth talent in the ocean racing arena.

So proud of these athletes and the way they continue to challenge themselves.

DAY TWO 🔥

Day 2 started strong for Cotton Tree, with Stan Jarrott claiming gold in the U17 2km Ocean Swim and also placed 3rd in the Open division — an incredible achievement.

Attention then turned to the team events, where Cotton Tree athletes continued to shine:
