Please note that, as WAKO Australia is a National Sporting Organisation (NSO) and the recognised national federation, it is compulsory for all competitors to hold a valid (non-expired) WAKO Australia membership.

This year, an unexpected system issue allowed some athletes to register without purchasing their membership, which is normally required before an entry can be completed. We apologise for this error; however, a current membership is still required for you to be entered and assigned correctly in Sportdata.

Your membership will be valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

👊 Kick Light – Continuous sparring with controlled strikes to the head, body and legs (no knee, no elbow!) Think flow, speed, and timing — not knockouts
💥 Light Contact – Same idea but above the waist only. Smooth combos, sharp technique, and clean control win the round.
⚡ Point Fighting – Explosive, stop-and-go action! Score one clean hit, the ref stops the match, then reset for the next exchange.
All three are about skill, control, and respect — not power. 💪✨
