We've hit the big time with NSW HEMA Championship, we've got our first sponsor, Historical Combat Armory.

Historical Combat Armory is a Canadian HEMA equipment retailer built by fencers for fencers, supplying swords, protective equipment and training gear to the international historical fencing community. You can find them at https://www.historicalcombatarmory.com/

Historical Combat Armory are providing us with discount codes as prizes for gold, silver and bronze in both the rapier and sabre divisions*, as well as a $10 discount on rash guards for any event volunteers.

We really appreciate Historical Combat Armory sponsoring the NSW HEMA Championships.

*to avoid any conflict of interest should a member of the TOSC organising collective place in the top three their discount code will go to the next fencer who ranked after them.

There's going to be a sword fighting and game combat panel starring a few members of the club at Every Game Talk Possible.

The talk will be at 6.00pm on Friday 16 October 2026 on the fourth floor of the PolyCentre (210 George Street, Sydney, Floor 4). It's going to be me, Tess, Kim, and Abigail talking about sword fighting and how it reflects on combat in games. It's going to be a lot of fun.

Go to https://everygametalkpossible.org/talks/tt-sword-combat/ to get the details, and come join in the fun.
