Doon Villa FC Senior Banquet 2026 Get ready to celebrate the 2026 achievements of Doon Villa FC with good food, laughs, and plenty of memories to share!

Our FQPL Ladies will have to do it the hard way if they are to earn their place in this year’s Grand Final after going down 1–0 to UPE in Bundaberg.

It was an evenly contested game, with both teams working hard and creating opportunities. Unfortunately, UPE found the back of the net with just five minutes remaining to secure the win.

The result means our ladies now need to regroup, refocus and work extremely hard as they prepare to take on a confident Across The Waves team. There is everything still to play for, but the girls know they will need to lift once again and leave everything on the field.

Before kick-off, our ladies wore black armbands and observed a minute’s silence in honour of the Neilsen family.

Doon Villa Football Club extends our deepest condolences to the Neilsen family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time.

Our Under 13s FQPL team have booked themselves just one game away from a Grand Final!

The team took on KSS Jets, a team that has been a bit of a bogey team for us this season. But when it mattered most, the team stepped up, showed their character and got the job done.

Next week, they face the League Champions, SC Corinthians, at Martens Oval with a place in the Grand Final on the line.

One game. One opportunity. One team.

Well done, team, You’ve earned the right to be here, now let’s finish the job.

Grand Final Here We Come!!

The under 14/15 FQPL boys came out to a busy Villa, ready for the biggest game of the year so far. A win would send them straight to the GF, a loss meant another chance.

Villa started well, putting pressure on the opposition, as well as maintaining their strong attack.

The defensive line worked well and were unbreakable, forcing all shots to be taken from long range, which Zander was able to handle well.

Midfields played some great football, controlling possession for long periods with simple pass and move football. Cooper, Jesse and Ethan worked well in the middle, and the wings, applied constant pressure.

Villa were awarded a free kick in the 12th minute that Jesse calmly slotted from well outside the box giving us the lead until the half.

Second half, the boys knew the fight was going to be harder. Villa came out firing and had a chance on goal within the first minute but were unlucky. ATW kept applying pressure, and it was made harder in the 45th minute when Villa were reduced to 10 men for 10-minutes.

Villa worked hard and played for one another and kept threatening even with a man down, and when it was back to 11v11, it never really looked in doubt.

Villa held on to win 1-0 and book our place in the grand final in 2 weeks time.

The coaches are beyond proud of these boys and how hard they have worked, with all the obstacles they have had to face, and look forward to the grand final in 2 weeks.

Today we celebrate all the Doon Villa dads, the leaders, supporters, coaches, drivers, sideline voices and biggest cheerleaders.

From early morning training to late-night games, weekend road trips and standing proudly on the sidelines, thank you for everything you do for our players and our club.

You’re more than just dads, you’re a huge part of the Doon Villa family.

Our last Premier League game of the day sees our Villa Ladies head to Bundy to take on the newly crowned League Champions, UPE.

The ladies are no longer the hunted, they are now the hunters, and the girls are relishing the challenge of taking on the champions on their home turf.

It promises to be a huge contest as our Magpies look to make their mark heading into the finals.

We'd love as many people as possible to make the short trip to Bundy and get behind these ladies. Your support from the sidelines means so much, especially when they take on the League Champions.

Our Under 14/15 Premier League Champions come face-to-face with Bundy rivals Across The Waves in a massive finals clash!

The lads have had the wood over Waves in their last two meetings, but they know exactly what their opponents are capable of. Nothing will come easy, and they will need to fight hard for every ball if they are to progress through to the big dance on the 19th.

This promises to be an absolute cracker of a game, with plenty of speed, skill and football prowess on display.

We are calling on all our Villa family to get behind these young lads and cheer them on as they fight for a place in the Grand Final!

Put on your black and white and get down to Villa Park!

LET'S BRING IT HOME, MAGGIES!

Unfortunately, Tuesday night saw our First Division Men fall short against United Warriors in a do-or-die 3 v 4 final.

The boys matched United with passion and intensity throughout the game, but with no substitutes available and then going down to 10 men through injury, the toll eventually became too much.

Despite the result, the club is incredibly proud of what this team has achieved throughout the season.

Well done, Magpies. You have represented and served your club with pride. We are proud of every one of you.
