Sorry, myself and my family are quite sick at the moment and i thought i had already put a FB post out! :(

Unfortunately, we won’t be going ahead with this Maryborough Oztag season due to low registration numbers. We really want Oztag to be a fun and exciting experience for all players, and with the limited numbers this time around, we felt it wouldn’t do the competition justice.

Maryborough Juniors – FAQ ❓

👉 When does the season start?
Season 3 kicks off Monday, 15th September. Games are on Monday afternoons at Doon Villa Fields, Gilbert St.

👉 What age groups can play?
Juniors are open for kids aged 6–15 years.

👉 What time are the games?
Games are played in short time slots:

4:00pm

4:35pm

(Possible extra round at 5:10pm, depending on numbers).

👉 How much does it cost?

$95 registration fee

$20 annual membership (lasts 12 months)

Shorts $30 / Tights $35 (must be official Oztag gear)

👉 Do the kids need to train?
Nope! Oztag is a social sport. Just show up and play. Referees also help kids on the field, so everyone learns as they go.

👉 Can my child join without a team?
Yes! You can register your child as an individual and we’ll place them in a team.
You also have the option to create your own team with friends – just gather at least 11 players and choose a fun team name!

👉 Do you accept Play On! vouchers?
Yes ✅ We accept Play On! vouchers. Please email them, along with your child’s name, to [email protected]

Great news — Maryborough Oztag accepts Play On! Sports Vouchers, making signing up even easier and more affordable!

What are Play On! Sports Vouchers?
– A new Queensland Government initiative offering $200 vouchers per child (aged 5–17) to help cover sport registration or activity fees.
– A great way to reduce costs and help kids stay active!

How you use it with us:
1️⃣ Apply for the voucher from 4 August 2025 (while rounds last) via the QLD Government website.
2️⃣ Once you have your voucher, email it to [email protected] along with your child’s name.
3️⃣ We’ll apply it toward your Oztag season registration (up to $200).
4️⃣ You cover any remaining balance if your fees exceed $200.

Perfect for families in regional areas, for children of all abilities, and those just looking to keep active — the Play On! scheme supports participation wherever you live.

3️⃣ Download & print the team sheet from our website, get your teammates to fill in their details, and hand it in on game night.
