📣 SIGNING ANNOUNCEMENT

Welcome back to the Borough, Robbie Muscat and Riley Skinner!

Both Robbie and Riley played junior footy with Maryborough, and we’re thrilled to have them returning to Princes Park for season 2027.

⚡️ ROBBIE MUSCAT

Robbie is an electric small forward with serious speed, elite pressure and plenty of X-factor.

No stranger to kicking goals, Robbie has the skill to create something out of nothing and can hit the scoreboard from just about anywhere. While injuries haven’t given him the best run over the past couple of seasons, we know exactly what he’s capable of when he’s fit and firing.

With a big preseason ahead, we can’t wait to see Robbie light up Princes Park in 2027. He’s going to be a crowd favourite!

🔥 RILEY SKINNER

Riley is another exciting player - a beautiful kick with a great set of hands, Riley knows exactly where the goals are.

He plays bigger than his size, brings outstanding tackling pressure and has the ability to make things happen whenever he’s around the footy.

After playing some of his junior footy with the Borough, we’re looking forward to seeing Riley back at Princes Park.

📣 SIGNING ANNOUNCEMENT

The Borough is Back, and we’re excited to welcome Bailey Pickering and Jakob Robertson to the Magpies for season 2027!

✍️ BAILEY PICKERING

Bailey is a hardworking, intelligent footballer who brings plenty of talent and character to the Borough.

A clever small forward with an excellent left foot, Bailey works tirelessly up and down the ground and consistently makes an impact on games.

He has taken his football to another level over the past three seasons through hard work and dedication.

But it’s what Bailey brings off the field that makes him such an exciting addition. His enthusiasm, character and commitment to his teammates are exactly the qualities we want as we rebuild our club and establish a strong, positive culture.

We can’t wait to see Bailey in the black, white and teal!

✍️ JAKOB ROBERTSON

Robbo is a silky, dynamic footballer who brings some serious X-factor to our forward line!

With his ability to glide in and out of contests, evade tackles and find the goals, Robbo is an exciting player to watch.

Whether he’s leading up and taking a mark or crumbing at ground level, his brilliant snap and deadly accuracy make him a dangerous proposition for opposition defenders.

Originally from the Ballarat Football League, Robbo has since played 60 senior games in the CHFL.

After a knee injury interrupted his 2026 season, Robbo is looking forward to a big preseason. We’re excited about his potential to spend more time through the midfield, where his clean hands and silky contest work will add another dimension to our side.

We can’t wait to see what Robbo brings to the Borough in 2027!

We’re excited to announce our Under 12 and Under 15 coaching teams for 2027!

We’ve built something special in our junior program - a culture of inclusion, teamwork, friendship and fun.

With our junior coaches leading the way, we’re excited to build on that strong foundation as we enter our next chapter.

Another exciting young talent is returning to the Borough for season 2027!

We’re thrilled to announce the signing of Jack Skinner, son of Maryborough club legend Cameron Skinner!

A silky, tough and versatile footballer, Jack can play just about anywhere on the ground. With his ability to kick goals from anywhere and make something happen whenever he’s near the footy, he’s sure to be an exciting player to watch!

We’re looking forward to seeing Jack light up the forward line and kick plenty of goals in the black, white and teal next season.

The Borough is back, and our netball coaching team is taking shape!

We’re thrilled to announce our 2027 netball coaches, who will join Annalyse Carroll as we prepare for our return to the MCDFNL.

Another Maryborough junior is coming home to the Borough!

We’re excited to announce the signing of Zayne Earl for Season 2027!

Zayne has developed significantly as a senior footballer over the past couple of years, putting in the hard work to build his fitness and strength.

A tough, physical player who loves the contest, Zayne will bring plenty of strength and competitiveness around the ball. He’s also dangerous when pushing forward, with the ability to hit the scoreboard and kick multiple goals.

We can’t wait to see what Zayne can bring to the Magpies following a big pre-season!

Double the excitement at the Borough! 🙌

We’re thrilled to announce the signing of twin brothers Ryan and Josh Thompson for season 2027!

The twins arrive from Clunes Football Club and bring plenty of talent, experience and leadership as we prepare for our return to the MCDFNL.

🏉 RYAN THOMPSON

An absolute star and a massive signing for the Borough! Ryan is an exceptional athlete and one of the most exciting forwards in the region.

Powerful in a one-on-one contest, lightning quick on the lead and capable of taking spectacular hangers, he’s the type of player who can turn a game on its head in a matter of minutes.

Coming off an outstanding season at Clunes, where he led the club’s goalkicking, Ryan brings serious firepower to our forward line.

A former Greater Western Victoria Rebels junior, he has all the attributes to become a genuine match-winner.

🏉 JOSH THOMPSON

A natural leader and fierce competitor, Josh joins us having captained Clunes.

After returning from an ACL injury, Josh has worked his way back into impressive form. A strong intercept defender with excellent hands, he reads the play beautifully and uses his kicking ability to turn defence into attack.

Josh brings leadership, determination and a winning attitude that will be invaluable to our playing group.

Two quality footballers and even better people.
