25-30 knot SSW in Botany Bay. What made it even sweeter was blasting out on my first run with a perfectly tuned rig combo. 4.6 KS3, 370 HSM ULTRA mast, and an HSM Kauli carbon boom. Those days when your harness lines are bang in the right spot, and you have just the right amount of downhaul. Great session 😛

The young one got his very first sail on our most recent trip to Maui, a 0.8m Microfreak. Here he is with a beaming smile having a good look. In the background is Dad's brand new carbon Kauli boom, and the All New GP1 6.0 available for demo in Australia in a weeks time : )

Maui Day 2: Despite a nightmare forecast of virtually no trade winds, we were still blessed with a 22 knot trade wind. Got out on the brand new GP1. Brilliant afternoon of blasting at Kanaha.

Team rider Glenn, has had a first rig of his GPS with the CAAS Power Wave 430 flex tip. While there was not enough wind to get out on the water, the sail looks to rig very well on this mast, with a nice draught, and cambers snapping nicely in true HSM fashion. So far so good : )

No wind Saturday for first rig test of the CAAS Power Wave 400. Whilst I didn't get out on the water, the mast visually rigged very well. So far, so good.
