⚠️ ‼️ It’s CONFIRMED - we are CANCELLED for approx. the next 10 weeks. 🚧 Council works have started on the lake and are estimated to be completed mid-December. Hopefully we will be back for Christmas! 🎅
😢 We’ll miss you all, but take this as a great opportunity to get out and explore some of the many different events SA has to offer. 🌱 Our closest neighbours are:
Carisbrooke parkrun
Jubilee Way parkrun
Lochiel parkrun
Drage Reserve parkrun
Largs Bay parkrun

🎉 It’s parkrun’s 2️⃣2️⃣nd birthday this weekend! 🎉

And what better way to celebrate than with a little TWO-two fun?! 👯‍♀️

🩰 Come dressed in your best tutu (two-two!)
👯 Bring TWO friends who haven’t tried parkrun before
🙌 Give us TWO helping hands by filling one of the several remaining volly roles
🎂 And help us celebrate another year of parkrun!

It’ll also be a pretty special one at Mawson Lakes, as we say a temporary farewell to our beautiful lakeside course. 🥹

The much-needed next stage of the lake works means Mawson Lakes parkrun will be cancelled for approximately 10 weeks after this week. So come along, bring your two friends, wear your tutu and make this one count! 🧡

‼️ IMPORTANT - UPCOMING CANCELLATIONS

🚧 Salisbury Council has informed us that they are planning to start further repair works on the lake wall in early October. This phase of work is at the top of the lake where our course exits onto the Dry Creek path. Unfortunately, the location of these repairs and the current situation with the school construction site means that it is not possible for us to create another alternate course. We will therefore be cancelled for the duration of these works.

🗓️ We will be continuing as normal for the next couple of weeks and will be cancelled for approximately ten weeks from 10th October. If anything changes we will provide updates on our page.

☹️ We’re gutted that we have to take a break but look forward to getting back up and running (and walking) in time for Christmas.
