Through my time with AusCycling, I’ve had the opportunity set up many sets of Sync handlebars and unlike many cockpits, they are a dream to work on.
So many little details in design that make setup and adjustments simple.

One tool to rule them all? Finger crossed! 🤞 After years of building my collection of various BB tools in a Coles bag, someone finally came along to bring some order to the chaos.
The Pedro’s BB socket set hasn’t let me down yet and there’s even slots in the box for when the bike industry comes up with another standard for no reason whatsoever.
Even the most wafer-thin t47 cup shoulders are gripped nicely with this tool. 100% would recommend.

It’s mountain bike season in the workshop today which means

Disc brake bleeds
Tubeless tops
Pivot bearing replacement

And even a 1x conversion to bring the Orbea up to spec.

The trails are a bit soggy at the moment but you can still go out and have a blast and let me worry about the aftermath 😂

Poor shifting can be caused by a number of issues:

- Incorrect adjustment
- Derailleur hanger alignment
- Excessive cable friction
- Worn or damaged components
- Incompatible components

But sometimes it just because a family of critters made a home in your shifter.

We’re solving problems everyday and service availability is good. Bookings can be made via phone, text, DM or via the website.

Fixing bikes is great, but sometimes it’s nice to put together a fresh build. If you have a particular purchase in mind or even if you have already sourced the parts, get it put together right ;-)

With my background in the competitive side of the game, I get how a small bike issue has the potential to derail the training program or a result in competition.
Nathan is in the final stages of preparing for Cairns Ironman and his bike was working well but he had noticed a couple of instances when the di2 battery had drained unusually fast.
Using Shimano’s eTube Project software, an issue was identified somewhere in the system and after eliminating each individual component, this wire was found to be damaged. New wire installed, issue solved and no fear of a flat battery come race day!
