FRSL End of Season Thank You
Before we finish up today, Iβd like to take a few minutes to recognise and thank everyone who has contributed to another great year for our FRSL community.
Firstly, Iβd like to give thanks to our Father in Heaven for blessing us with a great Christian community where we can come together, enjoy sport and compete together as the FRSL community.
Itβs great to see everyone here each week β coming together through netball and soccer, competing hard, supporting each other and enjoying the community we have around us.
Our Committee
Firstly, a big thank you to our committee for all the work that goes on behind the scenes throughout the year.
There is a lot of time, effort and organisation that goes into making the season happen, and much of it isn't always seen.
Without your continued dedication and commitment, we wouldn't be able to have the great year of competitive netball and soccer that we've had.
So, thank you for everything you have put in throughout the year.
Our Coaches & Umpires
A big shout-out to all of our coaches and umpires.
Thank you for giving up your time each week and for providing support, leadership and guidance to our players.
Without your continued involvement, our community would be missing a very important part of what makes our competitions work.
Our Parents
To all the parents and families, thank you for your support throughout the year.
Every week you get the kids here, support them from the sidelines and encourage them to keep playing and improving.
Your support makes a big difference and is a big part of what makes our community strong.
Our Players
To all of our players, thank you for getting out there every week and giving it your best.
There have been plenty of competitive games across both netball and soccer, and itβs been great to see the effort, sportsmanship and team spirit throughout the season.
Win or lose, the most important thing is that everyone gets out there, has a go and enjoys being part of the competition.
Kiosk & Grounds
And finally, a big thank you to our kiosk and grounds teams.
Thank you to everyone who turns up each week to set up, prepare the grounds, run the kiosk and provide for everyone throughout the day.
A lot of work goes into getting everything ready before the games even start, and we really appreciate the time and effort you put in.
Feedback & Getting Involved
I also want to encourage everyone to provide feedback of the past year.
If you have suggestions, ideas, or even just want to send through a big thank you to someone who has helped out, please don't hesitate to send an email or post a message.
We are always happy to hear from the community and look at ways we can continue to improve.
Also, if you would like to become more involved with FRSL and would be interested in taking on a role within the committee, please don't hesitate to reach out.
We do have a few committee members who have indicated that they will be stepping down at the end of this season, so we would love to hear from anyone who is interested in getting involved and helping the committee moving forward.
Thank You
So, to everyone who has played, coached, umpired, volunteered, helped out or simply turned up each week to support β thank you.
It takes a whole community to make a season like this happen, and we are very fortunate to have so many people willing to give their time.
Thank you all for another great year, and congratulations to everyone on a successful season.
God bless, and we look forward to another great year together as the FRSL community.
