Another king island done and dusted
QUIXOTIC (R7779) skippered by Andrew Middleton with crew of Brian Fentiman, Tristan Chen, Fletcher Johnson, Helen Gilmore, Jane Richards, Hester Freeman and Michael Pisani claims their Melbourne to King Island finish at 19:29:34 on 7 March. A rewarding conclusion to a race defined by tides, timing, and teamwork. Congratulations!

First dance with the Contender and I’m officially hooked 🎯
Had an absolute ball on my first ever Contender sail. What a weapon of a boat. Equal parts athletic event and chess match. Plenty to learn, plenty to tidy up, but that’s the fun of it.
Looking forward to seeing some real progression over the next few months as the muscle memory catches up with the ambition 💪🌊
