ests Tigers captain Api Koroisau has conceded his side is guilty of finding excuses during the club’s form slide but maintained none had to do with Jarome Luai’s shock decision to join the PNG Chiefs.
Benji Marshall’s men have conceded 226 points, and lost four from five games, since Round 9 – which was five days after Luai confirmed he would be joining new franchise, the Chiefs, from 2028.
Koroisau said Luai’s decision has not been a disruption and was not to blame for the Tigers’ form slump, given the former Penrith premiership winner still has another 18 months at the Concord club.
