Professionally, watching the Aussie Diamonds win everything lol

Personally, winning premierships, playing socially, representing Victoria in deaf netball, and still being able to get out there and play at a good level at my age of 51, a grandmother of 3, I've been playing this wonderful game since the age of 9 and I still love it as much today as I did all those years ago.

I love the fun, laughter, joy, comradery, hard work, competitiveness, the tough physical element, the thinking and the smarts, teaching and coaching rewards and mostly the amount of friends I've made along my netball journey in life.

So many haha, but I absolutely adore watching Cath Tuivaiti (Latu) I get so excited when the ball lands in her hands, what she does with that netball, there is nobody like her in the history of our game, she's just phenomenal.

Playing with my sister in my team at my local netball competition and also her coaching me as well as my mum to be assist coaching.

All about teamwork, bonding, laughter, fun, silliness, smart, teaching and friendship.

Also seeing my local club is thriving which makes me smile.

Oh so many but there is one that my team (mixed) won Gold in 2018. No matters how many times I play for ADG. Always Silver. And now I’m hoping to win Gold for women. And mixed of course.

But my least favourite ADG memory was back in 2008 in Queensland. It was my first time to play for ADG. In the first game and it was around 2nd or 3rd quarter, I rolled my ankle. Yep. So I miss 4 games in a row. So my team got Bronze.

𝗪𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐞𝐞/𝐝𝐨 𝐚𝐭 𝐀𝐃𝐆 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒?

I’m excited to play and watching and supporting all others sports.

I agree with Julie about Cath Tuivaiti (Latu). Like everything about Cath. But also Sophie Garbin and Cara Koenen for the strongest holding player and movement.

DNV make hard decision and decided cancelled this event due of low number of interested. We have booked two events next year in July and Sept 2024. Keep eye out for those two dates.

For the people who keen walking netball. We can make this happen on that event if have minimum 3/4 teams.
