If you want that “toned” look you’re chasing, the reality is you need to build muscle.

And as women, one of the biggest mistakes we can make is being scared to lift heavy because we think we’re suddenly going to get “too bulky.”

You’re not going to wake up one morning with huge muscles because you started lifting heavier, building noticeable muscle takes time, consistency and progressive training.

If you want more shape, curves and definition, you need to actually build the muscle underneath.

So instead of constantly picking up the lightest dumbbells and doing endless reps because you’re scared of getting bulky, start challenging yourself.

Lift heavier.
Get stronger.
Progress your training.

And if you’re in a fat loss phase, remember: losing fat reveals the muscle and building muscle creates the shape.

Stop being afraid of the thing that’s going to help you achieve the physique you actually want!

You can hate yourself into making a change, but you can’t hate yourself into a life you’re happy with!

As women, it can be so easy to fall into the cycle of constantly picking apart your body, feeling like you need to lose weight, look better or “fix” yourself before you can finally be happy.

And maybe that mindset gets you started but it only lasts for so long, because if your end goal is to become a version of yourself that you genuinely love and feel confident in, you can’t get there by spending every day hating the person you are now.

You’re allowed to want to change while still loving yourself where you are and you’re allowed to want to feel fitter, stronger and more confident without believing that you’re not enough right now.

The goal isn’t to spend your life chasing a version of yourself you think will finally be worthy of love.

The goal is to become someone you’re proud of and enjoy the process of becoming her 🤍

4 things you need to do to transform your physique!

1. Train with effort. showing up is one thing, but actually pushing yourself and giving your training the intensity it needs is what drives progress.

2. Fuel yourself for your goals. you can't expect your body to change if you're not giving it what it needs to perform, recover and grow.

3. Have the mindset to keep going. there are going to be setbacks, bad sessions and periods where progress feels slow. you can't let those moments convince you to give up on what you want.

4. Give yourself enough time. your physique isn't going to completely change in a few weeks. stop expecting results to happen faster than they realistically can and give the process the time it deserves.

Train hard, eat for the goal, stay in the game and be patient with the process 🖤

Meet my client, Mel

Mel is proof that you can do hard things, push yourself outside your comfort zone, and still create amazing results.

Together, we’ve transformed not only her body, but her mindset and relationship with her lifestyle. She’s built habits that allow her to work towards the goals she set for herself while still going out for meals with friends, training consistently, and enjoying life.

She’s learned that achieving your goals doesn’t mean putting your life on hol, it’s about finding a balance that you can actually maintain. The hardest part is often pushing through that initial discomfort, but once you do, you realise just how much you’re capable of.

Want to build muscle but don't want the scale to go up?

This is something so many people struggle with because we've been taught to see the scale as the ultimate measurement of progress but the scale doesn't know the difference between fat, muscle, water, food or anything else. it's just giving you a number.

When you're in a build phase, we need to look at the bigger picture.

Are you getting stronger?
Are your measurements changing?
Are your progress photos showing more shape and development?

Those are the things that actually tell us whether the plan is working. Building muscle means your body is changing, and sometimes that means the number on the scale changes too.

Stop letting one number determine whether you're making progress 🖤

Listen im not the first and i wont be the last but seriously there's no such thing as “toned” muscle!

What you're actually looking for is more muscle and less body fat. that's what creates the lean, defined physique you're chasing. So stop being scared of building muscle, training hard and seeing the scale go up. muscle is what gives your body shape, and you need to build it before you can really see it.

You don't accidentally wake up with a bulky physique from lifting weights. building meaningful muscle takes years of consistent training, eating enough to support growth and actually pushing yourself in the gym.

Build the muscle! Lose the body fat! Give it time!

That's how you create the “toned” physique you're chasing 🖤

We all have the same 24 hours!

The women you look up to don't have some secret superpower or somehow magically have more time in the day. They've just learned how to prioritise the things that need to get done to reach the goals they're working towards.

Training, nutrition, sleep, work, life, it all comes down to making time for what actually matters to you and being intentional with how you spend it. You don't need a perfect schedule or unlimited free time. you just need to start prioritising the things that are going to move you closer to where you want to be.

if they can do it, you can too 🖤

Eating “clean” doesn't always mean you're eating enough!

You can be choosing whole foods, hitting your protein and doing everything you think you're supposed to be doing, while still accidentally undereating for your goals.

Food quality matters, but it doesn't replace the calories your body needs to actually build muscle, especially in a build phase, you need enough food AND the right food. not one at the expense of the other.

You can't build the physique you want if you're constantly scared of eating enough to support it 🖤

Getting serious about your goals doesn't mean your entire life has to revolve around them!

a lot of people are scared to start dieting or take the gym seriously because they think they're going to have to give up everything they enjoy. no more dinners out, no social life, no spontaneity.
but that's not what it has to look like.

You build a routine that actually works around your lifestyle, plan ahead, and learn how to enjoy the things you love while still doing what's required to reach your goals.

The goal isn't to create a life that you can't maintain. it's to create a new balance where training, nutrition, work, relationships and actually enjoying your life can all exist together and having a coach who understands your lifestyle and knows how to navigate the process with you can make that transition so much easier.

Getting results shouldn't mean putting your life on hold 🖤
