We say good bye to one of the kindest and most enthusiastic competitors we have seen at the Glam Slam in recent years. Our thoughts are with his partner Terry. Jesus will be missed around the world.

RIP JESUS MARMOL MORENO ....it is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of a member of our GLTA family. Jesus loved life , the GLTA and touched so many of our lives. He’s a former GLTA World Tour Champion in singles and doubles and the winner of 13 additional titles during his time on the GLTA WORLD TOUR. Jesus is a perfect example of what makes our organization amazing. Many of us would never have met Jesus if it weren’t for the GLTA.....we were truly blessed to know you and to be in your company. Our love to Terry and Jesus’ family......RIP our dear friend.

Pride in Sport Awards

The Pride in Sport index assesses inclusion in Sport in Australia and recognises organisations, people and events that contribute to Diversity across the country. It is amazing the Glam Slam was nominated for the Inclusive Initiative Award. Congratulations to Pride Cup for taking the award this year.

Special mention goes to Craig Tiley from our sports governing body, nominee for Ally of the Year. Tennis is a more inclusive sport because of all the efforts of our partners at Tennis Australia. (He’s also been known photo bomb us during the Glam Slam)

A huge congratulations to our very own Chris Bunting not only nominee for Role Model of the Year but also his instrumental efforts in making Melbourne University Sports the organisation with the highest PSI score of any organisation in the country. He is truly a leader in our community
